Bald Eagle in it's Nest homer spit alaska

I often say, “Hope is the incubator of faith.” The Bible says it like this, “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” (Heb. 11:1 – NLT) The first part of that Scripture says, “Faith is the confidence that what we HOPE for will actually happen….” Do you realize what that means? It means IF you have lost your HOPE, in other words… you have nothing in your incubator, you will never see the things you wanted come to pass. If an Eagle doesn’t have any Eagle eggs in the nest (incubator), it would be silly to sit there month after month wondering why they haven’t seen anything.

The things we want to see in our life, things we hope for, are growing until God gives us the faith to believe, receive, and SEE those things come to pass. And that’s why I’m saying to you… if you’ve lost your hope, find it. If you’re hurt, disappointed, or angry… dig deep within yourself and resurrect that hope. Do whatever it takes. Remember, HOPE is the key ingredient for us to see and enjoy everything God has for us.

  • So true. Thank you for posting this important concept. Believing is part of a healthy life because that is one thing no one can take from you, unless you let them. Karen 🙂

    • Karen, Thank you for your comment. And you are right, the devil can’t take our “believing,” God won’t take it, it’s only us. We are the only one that can surrender what/who we believe in.

      Blessings! Pastor Kevin Kinchen
