HANGING ON EVERY WORD…….

Take a look at this,

Luke 10:38-39 (MSG) “As they continued their travel, Jesus entered a village. A woman by the name of Martha welcomed him and made him feel quite at home. 39) She had a sister, Mary, who sat before the Master, hanging on every word he said.”

When is the last time any of us were “hanging on every word Jesus said” like Mary did in verse 39? Be honest with yourself….

You see, in order to “hang on every word Jesus says” we FIRST have to MAKE time to “sit at His feet.” Listen up! The hardest thing you will ever face in the busy society we now live in is “making time to sit at the Master’s feet.” Everything around you will scream out, “YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO SIT AND LISTEN TO THE MASTER!” But the truth is, you cannot afford to NOT make time for Him.

Here is a BIG tip for you on how to find the time. For those of us in the United States, this weekend is when we set our clocks BACK one hour. So, on Sunday morning your body will want to wake up at its normal time. DO NOT TELL YOURSELF “GOOD, I HAVE AN EXTRA HOUR TO SLEEP.” Instead, go ahead and get up and use that extra hour to “sit at the Master’s feet.” And then make that extra hour a habit that will change your life forever. Remember, the only way to change your life, is to first change your daily routine.

One extra hour of sleep will feel good I’m sure…but, one hour of sitting at the Master’s feet, hanging on every word, will feel even better and it could possibly unlock every answer you’ve been looking for.

Have a great day!
