Remember, we cannot effectively lead others when we aren’t even following the same principles we preach. We cannot give away what we do not possess ourselves. It’s not good enough for me to only have knowledge “about” Jesus so I can tell a congregation “about” Him. No, I want to possess Jesus, to know Him, to have a fresh REALationship with Him. Then I will be able to IMPART Jesus to others instead of just feeding them a band-aid dose of knowledge.
