NO Talking Is NO Fun

Well, as of right now I still can’t talk. The throat doctor ran a scope through my nose to check my vocal chords. He said they are swollen due to laryngitis but also appear to be somewhat weakened. So, for now I am not allowed to talk… all. Do you know what it’s like to be a silenced preacher? Oh well, with no talking for a few days, it allows me some time to improve my “listening” skills.

I am still scheduled to have this kidney stone removed on Friday. However, I believe for the grace of God to allow me to pass it before then. Even my doctor said, “If you pass it before the surgery time just don’t show up and give us a call.” It’s very painful at the moment so the sooner the better.

Thanks for agreeing with me for total and complete health! The name of Jesus is FAR ABOVE laryngitis, ALS, kidney stones, swollen/weak vocal chords, etc. Amen? Amen! Thanks again!

“He’s (Jesus) done it all and done it well. He gives hearing to the deaf, speech to the speechless.” (Mark 7:37 – MSG)

  1. Kevin, been there done that with the “machitascope” (sp)! I quickly learned to hate that piece of machinery when I had throat cancer. Let me say this to you: God is not through with you yet! I know it and YOU KNOW IT. No matter what comes, no matter what happens, KNOW that He who is IN you is greater! You have been, are, and always will be in my prayers, I just pray more when you are going through.

    God bless you,

  2. Kevin,
We have been praying daily for you to pass the stone or better yet, God to work his miraculous wonders and just dissolve it. Make it disappear. Pain, pain go away in Jesus name we pray.
