What Is YOUR Determined Purpose?

Philippians 3:10 (AMP)  “For my determined purpose is that I may know Him that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly, and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers, and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed in spirit into His likeness even to His death, in the hope…”

What is YOUR “determined purpose” today? What is that ONE THING which you cannot afford to be without? What is it that you will plan for, fight for, reach for, and give your time for?

I want my determined purpose to be like the Apostle Paul…that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him. And I love what Paul says about “progressively becoming more acquainted with Him.” It’s a continual process, an ongoing thing. So many Christians make the claim, “I know Him.” Unfortunately, that often means something that has been checked off on their list. “Know Christ…check!” Knowing Christ is waaaaaay bigger than a one-time event. It’s progressive. We meet Him in a moment, but it will take an eternity to KNOW HIM.

Let your determined purpose be to know God; to know the extent of His love, grace, mercy, power, glory, kindness, and compassion. I pray your determination to know Him is priority-one in your life. When it is, everything else in your life miraculously falls into place.

Have a great weekend!

In Him,

  1. WOW what a message. You are so right. You meet him in a minute but it takes an eternity to get to really know him. Just when you think you know him he shows you something else. It never stops. This was an awesome message.

    Thanks
