I just read the following excerpt in my book, THE SECRET PLACE, REVEALED. Read it and see if it speaks to you.
Quality time is one of the great things about dwelling in the Secret Place. It’s this time with the Lord that allows us to slow down and listen for His voice. Scriptures come alive as if it were our first time to read them. Remember, the Word of God is alive all the time. It never sleeps and never rests. The Holy Spirit watches over us and has the ability to make one verse impact us depending on what season of our life we are in.
So many people make a big splash into the world of Christianity when they first give their lives to the Lord. At that point and time, if they are anything like me, they are hungry to find out who this Jesus is that just entered their life. Eventually though, when the newness wears off, people often slip into the mode of knowing ABOUT Jesus and they lose their passion FOR Him. If this continues for any length of time there can come a harsh reality of having “lost their first love.”
It doesn’t mean they are a bad person. It just means they have drifted away from the Source of the life that changed them in the first place. I don’t want to see this happen to anyone, especially you. If we keep doing what we have always done, we will end up with the same results we are getting now. That’s why there has to be a change. And in order to change our life, we first have to change our daily routine. I am writing this book in hopes that something will spark that change.
We ALL need change. Don’t let your passion for Jesus leak out as you make your way through this fast-paced life we’re trapped in. Slow down, listen up, repeat daily!
Have a great day!

I am thinking about writing a book titled, “THE DEVIL WEARS CHURCH CLOTHES!” It would be a book about the ridiculous things we do and say to others that end up being hurtful; and HOW we need to change. In other words, it’s a lesson on character so people will KNOW that, “We have been with Jesus.” Enjoy the video about this!
