Woo Hoo! The KEY To Fruitfulness.

Good morning and welcome to The E-quip Devotion. It’s kind of funny, whenever I write a devotion on healing, prosperity, encouragement, love, etc., I get all kinds of comments, likes (on Facebook), and emails. However, when I write one titled, “Men Who Hazarded Their Lives” I get nothing. Nothing at all. I realize that maybe people were too busy to respond, nevertheless, it seems any message preached, written, or shared that has to do with “getting out of our comfort zone” is not very popular. If we took all the stories and verses out of the Bible that took place “beyond our comfort zones” we would end up with nothing more than a short story. Always remember, “The fun, the miraculous, the exhilarating, the fruitful, and the supernatural usually begins when we are OUTSIDE of the boat…walking on unstable waters as we trust in the unwavering stability of Jesus.”

STEPPING OUT OF COMFORT…OUT OF THE BOAT
So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul—men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 15:25-26 NIV)

THE HAZARDS OF “UNCOMFORTABLE”
The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten. After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. (Acts 16:22-24 NIV)

THE STAY-BILITY JESUS GIVES IN THE SEA OF UNCOMFORTABLE
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose. (Acts 16:25-26 NIV)

THE FRUIT OF OUR UNCOMFORTABLE ADVENTURES
The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole family. (Acts 16:27-34 NIV)

UNCOMFORTABLE + JESUS = A FULL HEAVEN!

  1. Hallelujah….. Praise be to our Lord, God Almighty… the one who was, is and is to come…Hallelujah…

He has given us a might weapon to keep in our heart!

A supernatural weapon with the power of a Violent Earthquake, …… a weapon that destroys the Foundation of the enemy’s works…that Brakes the chains and sets the prisoners free… that Destroys satanic doors, releases captives from darkness and evangelism brakes through….

A weapon that brings salvation to the entire household by making the impossible possible….
a weapon that open up the way to freedom, peace, joy and righteousness.

Hallelujah….. the weapon is called Worship.
