Men Hazarded Their Lives For The Gospel

Good morning and welcome to The E-quip Devotion. It seems like we have been on the road forever! Margie and I have only been home for 3 of the last 25 days…but it’s all been worth it! We are almost home and can’t wait to hug our kids and those grand-babies. We have seen so many wonderful God-encounters in peoples’ lives that it boggles the mind. From the Iranian leaders to the hotel staff in the Middle East, from the churches in Arkansas and Oklahoma to the men’s breakfast in Arkansas, and of course, the camp in the back woods of Missouri; we have seen the mighty hand of God at work. God is ALIVE AND ACTIVE in the lives of people around the world…and He wants YOU and ME to be ACTIVE too.

Well, I have a little more driving to do so I need to get on the road. One thought for you though from the book of Acts. After reading and studying Acts for weeks and weeks I have noticed one common thread. The BELIEVERS were all about sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE…no matter what the risk. In fact, Barnabas and Saul were labeled as “Men who have hazarded their lives for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts 15:26 AMP) Here is my question for all of us:

Are we willing to do our part to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, no matter what the cost, what the hazard, or what the effort? Or, will we stay in our comfort zones and only DO that which comes easy?

Think about it.

In Him,
